Peter Munro

Peter Munro is an experienced technologist, educator and businessman specialising in AI and software development, trusted by Fortune 500 companies to deliver training to their engineering and business teams. He has trained thousands of developers at enterprises including Bloomberg, Morgan Stanley, Intuit, and Ericsson.

His technical expertise spans AI/ML implementation, AI-assisted software engineering, and modern software architectures. He authored the AI/ML curriculum for Morgan Stanley’s Technology Analyst Programme and recently led AI-assisted development training for the European Space Agency (ESA). As co-founder of AI Elevate, he helps enterprises integrate AI technologies into their development workflows. He is also Editor of AI Weekly Report.

Peter teaches the Diploma in AI for Business at UCD Professional Academy, where he serves as an AI subject matter expert. He authored the 2025 programme updates and developed three comprehensive Skill Sprint series: Generative AI, Boosting Productivity with AI, and AI Governance and Risk Management for Business. He provides corporate AI training to organisations including An Post and Abbott Ireland. He also teaches the TUS (Technological University of the Shannon) MSc in Applied Software Engineering.

Peter’s 25+ year technology career includes founding one of the UK’s first ISPs, growing an 8-person software consultancy serving FTSE 100 clients, and architecting solutions for the Royal Mail and Financial Times.
